Advent, which comes from the Latin word for “coming,” marks the four weeks before Christmas. It is a time when Christians all over the world prepare for the coming of Christ historically, as a baby born in Bethlehem, in our lives today, and as the future coming King. This year, Church Without Walls will reflect on what it means to live in the light of Christ’s Second Coming.
