Is it still worth going to church? We can use endless podcasts, books and seminars—or walks alone in nature—to create a spirituality that works for us. So why come sit in a room with other people?

The ancient New Testament book of Acts gives an audacious answer to this question: authentic spirituality must be lived together with others. Spiritual friendship is why it is still worth going to church. According to Acts, “church” is meant to be something like an unforgettable road trip adventure with lifelong friends.
