What does it mean to be white? Is there such a thing as “white culture?” What does it mean for white folks to constructively find their place in the race conversation? Join Drs. Liebscher and Beck (bios below) in this important and timely conversation.

Facilitator Bios:

Dr. Brandy Liebscher is a clinical psychologist and educator. She has spent over 10 years teaching, training, and conducting research to help people engage in courageous and transformative journeys that promote justice and reconciliation in the world around them. She taught in the areas of clinical and multicultural psychology at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has provided workshops in educational and religious settings. Brandy obtained a doctorate in psychology from George Fox University and is a licensed psychologist in the state of California.

Dr. Danielle Beck is a developmental psychologist, researcher, and educator. She has spent the past 10 years conducting research and teaching in the areas of child development, multicultural psychology and women’s studies. She lives in Redding, Calif., with her husband and daughter and works as a university professor and administrator. Danielle obtained a doctorate in developmental psychology from the University of Washington. She has published research in the areas of early childhood development and the teaching of psychology.
