Fall Giving Week 2019

 In Members Blog, News
  1. Association for a Just Society in Honduras, fighting the injustices that force so many out of their beautiful country.

Read here for more on why this is a crucial time to give to AJS (hint: Donald Trump).

2. Takataka Plastics, founded by our own Paige Balcom, is locally transforming plastic waste in Uganda into quality, affordable construction materials. They’re creating jobs, improving the environment and public health, and closing a loop in the circular economy.

3.  If you’ve been around CWOW for a while, you’ve heard about Men of Valor. But you may not have seen their introductory video.  I learned a lot by watching it, including that their building was originally used a school supported by the Black Panthers.

This fall our missions budget will match our giving to these organizations, as well as the organization (outside of these three) that receives the most donations.
